“After many years of poor eating habits and inactivity my weight had ballooned up to 230 lbs. (mostly all belly fat). I knew that if I didn’t make some changes soon that it would become increasingly harder and harder to do as soon, I would be 65. So, in late February of this year I met with Nate of Bodies of Empowerment to learn about his Company and the services they offered. During our initial interview he asked me about my goals and what I wanted to achieve with personal training services. I told him that I turn 65 in August and by then I wanted to have improved fitness, cardio, and reduced belly fat. He gave me an overview of a typical nutrition and fitness plan. He suggested that if I followed the nutrition, strength, and cardio plans that he designed specifically for me, that my goals were certainly attainable. I made a decision and joined that night.

It was a very good decision. As of now (early July), the transformation from where I was (in February) to where I am now is remarkable. My strength and cardio have vastly improved. My weight is down to approximately 205 lbs. (lost 25 lbs.). My waist size is nearly 4 inches smaller. As an added bonus, I no longer take blood pressure medicine to control my blood pressure and my cholesterol is back in the good range. All this accomplished in a 4-month period!  I have more work to do but I am certainly on track to hit the goals we set out in February. Once we get there, we will set new goals. This has truly been life changing and I look forward to continuing this journey.

I cannot say enough good things about Nate and Steve (the other trainer). They certainly know what they are doing and talking about when it comes to nutrition and fitness training. They take a personal interest in their clients and want to see them do well to achieve their goals. Together they make a great team. I made a commitment to better health and wellness, and I could not be happier with my decision to join Bodies of Empowerment.”
