Why are we different?

Northern Kentucky Personal Fitness Trainer  - Katie MelchingContrary to a gym or health club, we provide a private facility that allows for more personal attention and no intimidation. We have no members. There is no need to wait on equipment or feel self conscious with those around you. Each client is seen by appointment only. We don't offer personal training. We specialize in it!

Each program we design is catered to the specific needs of the client. There are no pre-designed programs or routines that are used. Although principles are universal, each person is different and is trained according to those differences.

With nutrition accounting for approximately 75% of the process, it is imperative that each person receives thorough guidance in this area. Most trainers fail to include this aspect or offer guidelines that are too vague, leaving you frustrated and confused. As a client of BOE, you receive necessary tools through nutrition and lifestyle coaching sessions, which are scheduled separately from your training sessions. This leads to true, long-term changes that last.

Any trainer can take you through workouts, but very few are able to facilitate life-long changes.

Nate McConnell, Owner

Northern Kentucky Personal Fitness Trainer  - Nate McConnell Growing up, I always knew that helping others would be in my future. I just didn't realize exactly what it would be and how I would make a living at it. I have now been personal training now for over 13 years in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas and could not imagine doing anything else! I started out as an exercise instructor at a racquetball club and managed a vitamin store. I began meeting with clients a couple of hours each week to supplement my income and build my clientele. The following year, I started my first full time training job with Gold's Gym., working as a Fitness Director for nearly 3 yrs. I then began moving out of the health club atmosphere and into personal training studios. I operated my business as an independent contractor out of several training studios and Rec Centers. In August of 2008, I decided to open my own training studio here! I am so blessed to be where I am today, doing what I love to do!

When I was 16 years old I started taking an interest in becoming healthier. It didn’t take long before being more health-conscious became second nature to me. Leading this healthy lifestyle has not only impacted my life, but I have also been able to influence my family and friends into changing their lifestyles as well. My favorite thing to do is to run outside on a warm sunny day. It helps me clear my mind and get away from all the stresses of daily life. For me, exercise is a challenge that I have come to enjoy, and that’s what I would like to teach to my clients – how to make exercise fun! I am a firm believer that nothing in life that’s worth having comes easy, and there is no exception when it comes to working out. My promise is to provide each client with fun and challenging workouts while helping them reach each of their fitness related goals. I am a very outgoing, positive person and extremely easy to get along with. I am passionate about helping others lead healthier lives and I take my commitment to you seriously.

Nicole Rankin

Northern Kentucky Personal Fitness Trainer  - Nicole RankinMy journey to Health and Finess began 16 years ago with my first 5K race. This race sparked a love for running as well as a healthy lifestyle. After years of running races and several marathons, I was introduced to lifting weights. Even after years of running, my body did not transform until I began weight training and really paying attention to my nutrition. In 2006 I competed in my first Figure Competition and became a Certified Fitness Trainer.

I bring a passion of training, nutrition, and helping others to Bodies of Empowerment. I have challenged both men and women to transform their bodies through proper exercise and nutrition. From moms who want to "loose that baby weight", to atheletes who want to perform better at their sport of choice. Let me educate and inspire you to reach your goals today!
